Aqua – Dashboard

How to create and customise your Aqua dashboard.

Overview

When you log in to Aqua, the Dashboard is the first screen you see. Each piece of content is treated as a widget — you can select, arrange, and customise widgets freely to build a view that shows exactly what you want to monitor. Dashboards can be saved, so you can manage all your key metrics in a single, personalised view.


Creating a New Dashboard

  1. Click the + Create Dashboard button in the top right of the page

  2. Enter a name for the dashboard

  3. Set the visibility — Private (visible only to you) or Public (visible to all users)

  4. Select your widgets and create the dashboard

Available widgets:

RI/SP Recommendation

RI and SP purchase recommendations

Instance Utilization

Running hours per instance

RI Utilization

RI utilisation rate — the proportion of purchased RIs being used

Coverage Usage

Instance coverage breakdown — on-demand, spot, RI, and SP

Cost by Service

Instance size optimisation recommendations

Cost Savings

Previous month's cost savings


Editing a Dashboard

  1. Select an existing dashboard from the dropdown in the top left of the page

  2. Click Edit Dashboard next to the dropdown

    1. Settings — Edit the dashboard name or change between Private and Public

    2. Add Widget — Add a new widget to the dashboard

    3. Delete Dashboard — Permanently delete the dashboard

  3. Click Save to apply your changes
