How to Configure Chart Settings in Wave

Overview

This guide walks you through the chart configuration options available in Wave's settings.


Chart tab

  • Chart period: This month, Last month, This year, Past 3 months, Past 6 months, Past 1 year

  • Chart time granularity: Daily, Monthly

  • Default chart type: Stacked, Bar, Line — The selected chart type will be used as the default display

  • Default table item count: 10, 30, 50, 100, All — Sets the number of rows displayed in the report at the bottom of the page

  • Total Chart Style: Solid line, Solid line (with dots), Curved line, Curved line (with dots) — Changes the display style of the total amount line

  • Total chart line width: 1, 2, 3

    • Users can set the total amount line thickness.

  • Total Chart Colour: Sets the colour of the line representing the total amount

  • Maximum series display count: 5, 10, 15, 20, 200

    • Sets the number of services or accounts shown in the graph. Items that exceed the limit are grouped under Others. Colour legends are displayed below the graph

  • Other chart colours: Sets the colour scheme for all charts other than the total chart

  • Data grouping: Grouping may improve performance — enabling this is recommended

  • Show Map: Displays a mini-map below the graph for easier trend overview and date range adjustment
