This article provides an overview of the Flow dashboard page.

The dashboard allows you to review the savings achieved through your purchased Reserved Instances (RIs) and Savings Plans (SPs), as well as evaluate the performance of Savings Plans purchased via Flow.

Dashboard

MOnthly On-Demand Cost:

The on-demand cost that would have been incurred if the purchased RIs or SPs had not been applied. This represents the actual cost that would have occurred without the RI/SP purchases.

Effective Cost

Displays the usage cost after the applied discounts from purchased RIs and SPs. This reflects the actual amount incurred.

Total Savings

The difference between the monthly on-demand cost and the actual cost represents the total savings.

Savings = On-demand cost − Actual cost

Graph

The graph allows you to filter by time period and service, and displays corresponding data for cost, coverage rate, and utilization rate. Additionally, it distinguishes between RI/SPs purchased via Flow and those purchased independently, enabling you to evaluate the effectiveness of each RI and SP directly from this screen.

Both SPs purchased via Flow and those purchased independently by the user are shown, allowing for centralized management.
