Overview
Tags configured in Ripple tag-based Billing Groups are reflected in Wave, allowing you to visualise recalculated costs by tag. This makes it possible to provide Wave access to customers who are billed using tags.
How to Configure
Tag settings are managed in Ripple. Any tags configured there are automatically reflected in Wave.
Important Notes
Accounts and tags cannot be displayed simultaneously.
Wave does not support displaying both account-based and tag-based data at the same time. Since Billing Groups in Ripple are created as either account-based or tag-based, Wave visualises data based on the Billing Group configuration.
To display both, create two separate Billing Groups — one account-based and one tag-based — and create a separate Wave account for each.
To manage both accounts and tags in a single Wave account:
While a single Wave account cannot manage both account and tag data simultaneously by default, this is possible using the Access Group feature.
Tag amounts displayed in account-based views:
When a Billing Group is created using an account-based approach, tag amounts displayed are based on Unblended costs. To display True Unblended amounts, use this feature (tag-based Billing Groups).
Monthly graphs:
Monthly graphs are displayed after Ripple billing has been finalised.
